Affordable Art Fair Austin, Texas

About the Fair

In May 2026, I participated in Affordable Art Fair Austin, Texas — part of the internationally recognized Affordable Art Fair network, which brings together galleries, artists, and collectors through annual events held in major cities around the world. Held at Palmer Events Center, the fair featured more than 55 galleries from across the United States and abroad, creating a vibrant environment for artistic discovery, collecting, and meaningful connections through art.

My Participation

Represented by Artseeker Gallery, I presented a selection of mixed media abstract works exploring emotional connection, trust, balance, and the invisible structures that shape human experience. My work combines layered textures, architectural forms, and organic movement, inviting viewers to slow down, observe, and discover their own meaning within each composition.

Selected Works

The works exhibited at the fair focused on themes that continue to inspire my practice — human connection, inner stability, trust, and emotional presence. Through texture, geometry, and carefully balanced color palettes, I seek to create pieces that are both visually engaging and emotionally resonant. During the fair, four of my artworks found new homes. While two works were acquired directly from the exhibition, collectors also selected two additional pieces from my Pennsylvania studio after connecting with the work presented at the fair and exploring the series further.

Atmosphere & Experience

One of the most rewarding aspects of the experience was meeting collectors and speaking with visitors in person. Hearing their interpretations and emotional responses reminded me that every artwork continues its journey long after it leaves the studio. The atmosphere throughout the fair was welcoming, inspiring, and filled with meaningful conversations about art.

Reflection

Participating in Affordable Art Fair Austin was an important milestone in my artistic journey. Beyond the opportunity to share my work with a wider audience, it reinforced my belief that abstract art can create genuine connections between people regardless of background or experience. The new luxury is not excess, but meaning — living with artworks that carry craftsmanship, emotion, and a human story. I left Texas feeling inspired, grateful, and excited for what comes next.
