The Way Back is about the relationships that survive distance, time, change, and everything left unsaid. Our lives may move in different directions, crossing and separating, sometimes taking us far from the people who once felt closest.

Yet some connections have a way of finding us again.

The sweeping lines trace those journeys—moments of separation, unexpected intersections, tension, and return. The small flashes of red hold the emotional intensity of what was lived through, while the gold becomes a thread that continues despite everything.

This work is about realizing that finding your way back doesn’t mean returning to where you started. Sometimes, after everything has changed, you meet again as different people—and choose each other once more
